From here, we journey along Namibia’s spectacular Atlantic coastline toward the charming seaside town of Swakopmund—often referred to as the German heart of Namibia. Along the way, we make a very special stop at one of our carefully selected hidden birding locations near the salt pans north of town—far away from the busy crowds. Here, flamingos, avocets, plovers, pelicans, and a remarkable variety of coastal birdlife gather in peaceful silence. This is one of Paparazzi’s signature secret stops, a location not visited by most guides, offering exceptional photography and uninterrupted wildlife viewing.

Upon arrival in Swakopmund, we step back in time as we explore the town’s fascinating colonial heritage, elegant German architecture, historic landmarks, palm-lined streets, and stories that shaped one of Namibia’s most iconic coastal towns.
