Activity Description

Explore the rugged beauty of the Skeleton Coast, a land marked by desert extremes, and a haunting coastline with shipwrecks on this tour. We enter the Ugab gate to the Skeleton Coast, looking for lost shipwrecks, whale skeletons, old diamond mines and old Oil Rigg, drive to Torra Bay and Terrace Bay for a light lunch, a photographer’s dream. On our return, we witnessed the vast Cape Cross Fur Seals Colony at Cape Cross, where Diego Cao planted the first Cross in 1493.
Stop at the ‘musical rocks’, Desert Lichen Fields, quick stop in Henties for a coffee break.
We head southward to the Zeila Shipwreck for pictures, passing through Wlotzkasbaken, [old German Settlement] and end our day in Swakopmund
